the meaning of it all

I have been thinking about

knowing something

and

knowing what it means to know it

I do not have a good command of the English language, so I'm pretty sure somebody else would put those thoughts more eloquently.

I think, that is the very problem that I have with the 'youth' or rather this 'new' generation:

they are exposed to a whole lot of ish, they know a whole lot of ish than the previous generation.

but

they lack the ability to understand what it means to know what they know.

Which, to me at the least, means, they don't know anything --- or rather what they know has no value, to them.

I'm too lazy to throw in some analogies to further explain myself, but, if you looked around you'll see it.

Till next time.

if a man has power and he does not know that he has that power, then he is powerless no matter how much power is inside him

I agree, in the context of an analogy --- power and being powerful, are things I avoid.
