To live in Africa and be heavily engrossed in the 'digital planet', its a handicap, almost like being left handed, nothing in the 'digitally mediums' is designed to suit you. Sometimes you are located in 'the Middle East & Africa', or 'Europe'.
Sometimes you get lucky enough to get close to home, like say, 'Southern Africa'. Yeah, South Africa is somewhere there, ja neh!
This is quite discontenting, considering that google has a google dot co dot za but when you use thier google desktop and try to add a weather area for south africa it only gives you American states. I mean google of all people should know there is more to the world than America.
I remember a few months back there was this site that does 'blog' awards by geographic region, and it turns out, according to them, the Middle East and Africa are in the same category. I mean really? An arabic dominant region and and African dominant region in the same category.
The problem gets worse when you try to buy or search for goods online, nothing is in the South African or African context. There is nothing worse than having to choose your location and find out that your location doesn't exists, I mean what the hell are you supposed to do?
Is it really true that Africa does not exists to other people, don't they know Africa will be the new Mecca for business growth in the next few decades?
Ah well, I suppose the day an African country gets a seat on the United Nations Security Council, then somebody will pay attention. (rooting for South Africa of course).
So, Zuma is not guilty.
